Challenge 2 bengali movie starring Dev to be released in 2012

          It's now final that Challenge 2 is going to be happened. As confirmed by the DTS [Dev the Superstar team] the shooting is going to be started from May this year. The movie will star Dev as the previous one but the actress opposite him will be some newcomer & not any known face like Subhasree or Koel.

          This action movie is going to be directed by Raja Chanda & will be under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. Raja Chanda is in a row of films with Shree Venkatesh Films whose latest is being Jaaneman [Click here to read about Jaaneman] with Soham & Koel. Challenge the movie was a overnight success of Raj Chakraborty, this movie also made Dev the action hero & Subhasree the ideal opposite of Dev. The full fledged action movie was a landmark movie of Dev which also had some superhit bengali number by Jeet Ganguly such as "Bhojo Gourango". Srikant monhta of the production house says though it is named as Challenge 2 but the storyline is totally different from the previous one & it is not at all a sequel. Dev, who is now a days doing some non-action movies will again be seen as the action icon in the movie. Well all we can say now that girls, your heart hrob is coming back again in his action avatar? Update [ 11th May 2012] : It is now learnt that Pooja Bose, the heroine of Macho Mustanaa is going to be the actress for the movie. Hindustan Times reported today that she is now confirmed for the movie to cast opposite Dev.
