TRAI from 11th November 2011 will allow mobile customers to send 200 sms per day per sim. The previous rule of 100 sms per day per sim (effeted from 27th October) is raised to 200 sms per day per sim. TRAI announced on 10th November about this news after consulting with the mobile operators.
After receiving presentations form the consumers & service providers they took this decision to upscale the limit to 200. From 27th September all the operators limited the sms cap to 100 per day or 3000 per month as customer wants. But after receiving constant suggestions & demands from the users, TRAI has finalised it. The operators stated that they will roll apply the improved changes as soon as possible.
Feedback of the customers who uses to communicate a lot via sms are still not that good. Customers saying that a mere 100 increase will not serve their need but it surely some relief to a bit.
