Sayak to replace Subhojit in bengali band Lakkhichhara

Sayak the first vocalist of bengali band Lakkhichhara is again joining the band after almost 10 years cause Subhojit the lead vocals of Lakhichhara left the band & shifted Mumbai to expand his musical career.

Subhojit said "It has been a superb journey, with loads of live gigs, three released & one unreleased album, fun, anger, sadness and last of all but not the least... full of Love... I have made seven of the best friends of my life through this band.. So it was hard for me to take this decision." in his social netwirking site. Subojit performed his last show with the band on Wednesday 21st December. Gabu (Gourab Chattopadhyay, drummer of Lakhhichhara) said that Subhojit gave them adequate time to find a replacement for him & they decided to place Sayak in his place. Gabu stated that every man has his own dreams & the band respects that. It's sad that one of our best friends is leaving. May be he wants to do playbacks & we wish him best for it. Subhojit has left the band with 4 tracks recorded for the new album of the band, now the rest songs will be completed by Sayak. Sayak is a known name in Kolkata's band wagon. He was placed for Pota in Cactus a couple of years back & performed almost a year with them. But after Pota rejoined Cactus Sayak was replaced. Well change is inevitable & it is one example only. Sayak is no doubt a well performer & a great vocalist. Everybody loved him in Cactus. Now he is going to rock again with Lakkhichhara. From this coming January 2012 he will be seen live with the band. His rock solid, power pack voice will surely wave the crowd with the rock numbers of Lakkhichhara like "Paliye Berai", "Ke Ki Bole Gelo", "Alokbarsho Dure" & the soft numbers like "Sonali" etc.
