Abar Byomkesh (2012) bengali movie is directed by Anjan Dutta. This is the next film of the Byomkesh Bakshi the detective story series. Last film of Byomkesh Bakshi series ws released in 2010 where Abir Chatterjee protrayed the character of Byomkesh Bakshi. In this movie he will be again doing the same job. Director Anjan Dutta's last byomkesh movie was a successful one. This movie is based on the story "Chitrachor" of Byomkesh series written by Saradindu Bandyopadhyay.

Parts of the movie has been shot at the Gorumara National Park in North Bengal. Anjan Dutta is always too good to screen suspense stories. And Abir presented the character of Byomkesh in the last movie so well. The movie cast is full of acclaimed actors like Saswata, Chandan, Biswajit & more.
In Kolkata suspense movie means only two names; Feluda & Byomkesh. Last year Feluda with his "Royal Bengal Rohoshyo" was able to attract public to cinema halls with its great story & presentation. Now it is a challenge for Byomkesh to present something more. And we are hopefully waiting for that.
