Bhalobasa Off Route E (2012) is the upcoming bengali movie directed by Arunava Khasnobis. The story of the movie has been penned by the director himself & Padmanava Dasgupta. This is a type of comedy movie with a mix of seriousness at different parts. The director says "It is difficult to compartmentalize it into a particular genre. The graph of the film fluctuates from comedy to a serious track and vice versa." The cast of the movie, Rahul, Rudranil, Kanchan, Kharaj are well acclaimed for their ability to perform different challenging roles.

• Story Outline : Chandiphanta a village a little far from Kolkata is being plagued by two Mastaans, Jagan and Fagan, essayed by Rudranil and Abhiraj. Interestingly, for them, the playing ground is the only place to settle their scores. And they do so by killing their opponent on the field, while engaging him in a football match. Eventually, the village's former pradhan gets his two nephews, Siddhartha and Sandip, played by Rahul and Saswata, to teach the duo a lesson. Tanusree and Parijat play their love interest, the film takes off after three years and then goes in the flashback mode to explain what had happened three years back.

As you can see the main catch of the movie is based on a football match. We have seen movies like Shaolin Soccer (Hollywood), Goal(Hindi), Egaro(Bengali) based on football match & stories surrounding the match. The director clearly not states if the movie is centralized on a football match & the result of which declares the ultimate theme of the movie. The movie shot in Kolkata & Bolpur. We are still not aware of the expected release date but will surely update once informed.
