Bhaskar Gupta has also assured that students need not worry about the strict rules of MCI (Medical Council of India) that they may derecognize the MBBS degrees of the students who are not taking CET and opted for the WBJEE. He also said that "The government must have a plan. We could not have taken a decision bypassing the government. It knows about the problem and will take responsibility for the medical students. They need not worry. Moreover, though MCI had said they may derecognize the degrees of students who do not appear in CET, they have not confirmed the decision. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are also conducting separate medical entrance tests and not participating in CET. They have got stay orders from the high courts."
So from now the dilemma in the minds of the JEE students should be wiped out & they must prepare themselves for the test..
