Facebook down in India on 13th March 2012

Facebook India is down on13th March 2012. Today morning while trying to log into Facebook we encountered the following problem

Previously on 25th February we reported that Facebook is down but that lasted for an hour or less. But today it is almost more than 2 hours Facebook is down and totally not responding. Last time on 25th February 2012 the log in page of Facebook & the extra applications of Facebook such as the like box, fan page box, recommendations box was working fine. But today all of them are totally not responding. Here is the screenshot of the Facebook like box in our blog which is not still not working

There is a rumor buzzing that Facebook will close its operation from India on 15th March 2012. But it is totally a meaningless rumor cause neither Indian Govt. nor Facebook announced anything about it. Few days ago when Facebook was down in Europe the authority announced that they were experiencing some technical difficulty. But some websites reported that it may be a DDoS attack by hackers that caused the service interruption.
Nothing is confirmed yet, even that last time when Facebook was down they did not cleared what caused the interruption. And this time it is more than 2 hours already. The most popular social network currently ranking at number 2 at Alexa is down. We don't know what's the problem nor we can assume anything. Cross your fingers and hope it gets online soon.
Update : It is learned that only the Facebook.com & its all plugins were not working whereas the mobile version of the site m.facebook.com was working fine.  But everything is ok now.
